Comprehensive Mental Health Services:

Psychiatric Services:

A psychiatrist is a physician who evaluates an individual’s need for medications as part of their overall treatment. Our medical staff along with our psychiatrists are a critical part of the team approach in managing mental health and substance abuse services.

Psychological Testing:

There are unique situations where psychological testing is needed for adults or children. Our licensed psychologist will meet with an individual for a clinical review, testing implementation and interpretation of the results, followed up with formal recommendations.

Case Management:

The goal of case management is to provide more intensive and personal services to individuals who want to maintain active and independent lives within our community. These services are provided in the individual’s residential setting. Community Mental Healthcare provides case management services to both adults and children in the greater Tuscarawas and Carroll county area, including Dover, New Philadelphia, and Carrollton.

Day Treatment/Group Therapy:

Partial hospitalization programs (day treatment services) consist of structured face-to-face therapeutic group sessions organized at various levels of intensity and frequency. They are typically designed for individuals who are experiencing increased symptoms, behavioral disturbances or other conditions that negatively impact their behavioral health. Services provided are for the purpose of diagnostic evaluation, active treatment of a condition or to prevent a relapse.

Our day treatment program meets Monday through Thursday at our New Philadelphia location from 9am to 12pm. This supportive group is lead by a caring counselor who specializes in group therapy.
