Dentist

Community Mental Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a Dentist to join our newly created local primary care/dental practice.

The dentist will be responsible for administering, maintaining, and expanding a practice of primary and preventative dental care in a Federally Qualified Health Center setting. This position is eligible for loan repayment. The dental practice is a component of a comprehensive health care system which includes primary care medicine and behavioral health services. Registed Dental Hygienist

Community Mental Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a part-time Registered Dental Hygienist to join our newly created local primary care/dental practice.

The hygienist will provide direct provision of oral hygiene and appropriate preventative dental care in a Federally Qualified Health Center setting. The hygienist will also be responsible for providing oral health information to patients. The dental practice is a component of a comprehensive health care system which includes primary care medicine and behavioral health services.

Qualifications:
Graduate from an accredited school of dental hygiene; ability to maintain appropriate clinical privileges; unrestricted license to practice Dental Hygiene in the State of Ohio. Current CPR certification.


Full-time AOD Counselor

Community Mental Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a full-time AOD Counselor to provide outpatient substance abuse services in accordance with standards established by the Ohio Mental Health and Addiction Services (Ohio MHAS), agency policies and other relevant standards, to assure achievement of agency and program goals and objectives. Responsibilities:

  • Provides assessment and planning services through the use of appropriate clinical skills and training to elicit accurate information pertinent the individual’s needs, functioning, metal status and presenting problem. Utilizes techniques to elicit and assess alcohol and other drug use history and treatment including the following dimensions: intoxication and withdrawal potential, biomedical conditions and complications, emotional/behavioral/cognitive conditions and complications, treatment acceptance/resistance, relapse potential, recovery environment and family or care-giver functioning.
  • With input of the client, family members or guardian establishes appropriate ISP treatment goals and objectives based on assessment information. Completes all required intake assessment forms and ISP appropriately for services to be provided within time frames established. Assures clinical consistency between the diagnostic assessment and identified needs, the ISP, and the services received.
  • Provides counseling services based on identified goals, objectives, and services. Intervenes using appropriate crisis intervention skills and anticipates and prevents crisis as necessary. Utilizes diagnostic updates, diagnostic assessment updates, and/or makes referrals as clinically indicated in response treatment.
  • Demonstrates professionalism with clients and others within the community while establishing therapeutic rapport with client, while defining boundaries. Interacts with clients and other staff in a respectful, culturally sensitive, cooperative manner. Provides knowledge of community resources such as support groups, housing assistance, food assistance, transportation, and appropriately links or refers clients.
  • Serves on agency-wide committees and participates in a variety of agency support functions as necessary.

Crisis Stabilization Unit Technicians

Community Mental Healthcare has openings for part-time Crisis Stabilization Unit Technicians in a 5-bed voluntary stabilization unit. As a CSU Tech, you will assist in the daily activities and provide direct care to meet individual treatment goals. Additionally, this position provides Crisis Intervention services as needed. Flexibility in schedules with less than 29 hours per week.

Ideal candidates will be passionate about helping others while maintaining a positive and energetic attitude as well as possess the desire to make a difference within the agency and local community. Must have effective communication skills in both person and on the telephone to meet the needs of the crisis intervention process.

Requirements: Bachelor or Associate Degree in mental health-related field; or Medical Assistant Certification plus 1 year mental health experience; or high school diploma with 2 years relevant mental health experience.


Licensed Master’s Level Outpatient Therapist

Community Mental Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a full-time Licensed Master’s Level Outpatient Therapist to provide assessments and counseling services on an individual, family, or group basis to adults and children.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides assessment and planning services utilizing appropriate clinical skills and training. With the input of the client, family members or guardian establishes appropriate ISP treatment goals and objectives based on the assessment information. At the appropriate time, utilizes assessment information to establish appropriate interventions, allowable services, and appropriate time frames.
  • Executes counseling services utilizing appropriate clinical skills, training and treatment modalities, as based on identified goals, objectives and services.
  • Diligently executes required intake forms and assessment updates within timeframes established by CMH policies and procedures, ODMH, and other regulatory agencies. Assures clinical consistency between the diagnostic assessment and identified needs, the ISP, and the services received.
  • Consistently demonstrates clinical skills, knowledge and competence in utilizing program-related, research based treatment approaches, general knowledge of psychotropic medications and potential side-effects.
  • Advocate for the patient and demonstrate comprehension of all services offered by CMH as to provide the best possible service to our clients.
  • Collaborates with community professionals, agencies and significant others as appropriate and documents in progress note.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of community resources or refers clients.
  • Provides a variety of client-related functions through in-direct support, documentation and administrative functions.
